#1 He was in the locker room, speaking to his players.

#2 UNC cheated for years to prop up its athletics program, with fake classes, fake papers, and God knows what else we never found out about. When they got caught, they lawyered up and found a way to take advantage of the weakness of the NCAA to avoid punishment. If any athletics program in the country deserves to be called insulting names, it's UNC.

His audience was his players, who had just played tough, in the sweat and dirt, hitting and being hit, risking life and limb and ankles and ribs for their team-mates. It was the fuckin locker room. Maybe reporters should be banned, or screened with questions about their sensitivities. Our coach is completely appropriate in firing up his team, at their home base, both before and after a game, especially against a "hated" rival, especially against those assholes from UNC. This article, Jim, sounds like you're one of those oh-so-holier-than-thou proper young men and women from blue heaven. I thought I knew you better than that. My rant is now over. I always enjoy your JIM TALK, even though I don't always agree with it. Your friend, Alan

It is great to have a coach with fire in his belly. It is a shame that his Locker Room coments made it out into the public, those things should stay within the locker room walls. His public comments were very professional, he said it was great to have not lost to UNC in over 1400 days but gave compliments to the team and coaching staff of UNC. I am sure that if all of Mack Brown's comments from the locker room went public he would have a Potty Mouth as well.
